Why: As part of the MakersPlace AI Art Hackathon at NFC Lisbon, Sasha Stiles presented Ars Autopoetica, her Genesis landed on the platform. Divided into four parts, the series is intended to convey “a poem about poetry, a meditation on the role of the writer and the act of writing,” Stiles said.

Why: As a follow-up to the first volumes of Xie’s Generative Patchwork and Bullseye, Interwoven seeks to investigate the feature-length potential of machine-made, yet seemingly human-like compositions. Xie said the collection “is designed to evoke the narrative and storytelling aspects that form an integral part of the quilt-making tradition.”

Why: I’ll Be There for You is the eighth and final track on Melvv’s Polychrome EP. This huge drop not only marks the prolific producer’s first lead vocals on one of his albums, but also marks his debut on Sound following April 2022’s “When I’m With You.” The second initiative on the platform.
