Lil Pudgys, on December 19, 2021, is a companion NFT series to the coveted Chunky Penguin series. With 22,222 possible NFTs, Lil Pudgys initially ushered in an expansion of the Pudgy Penguins universe while creating an economical way for NFT enthusiasts to join the Pudgy community. While Lil Pudgys’ deals have dried up a bit as the Pudgy Penguins project is overhauled in 2022, the line’s matching collection is starting to see price hikes like its predecessors. There’s still a lot to imagine about the Companion series, but as the Penguin universe grows, Lil Pudgys may still be an underrated way to join the community.
