Snoop Dogg, Ice-T y Dr. Dre have just announced the publication of a comic titled Death for Hire: The Origin of Tehk City. This graphic novel will serve as a prologue to the animated series Tehk City. The television program will feature the voices of Snoop Dogg, Ice-T, Coco, Busta Rhymes and a host of other stars from the world of Hip Hop.Death for Hire: The Origin of Tehk City is the latest of the graphic novels published by the Z2 line featuring some of the most influential names in the music industry. It is expected to go on sale in the United States in the summer of 2023. Probably, as usual, it will take a few more months in Spain. The publisher has explained all the details about Death for Hire on its website. That includes a small glimpse that the work will make use of. The comic follows the adventures of Chuck Davis (Ice-T) as he and his associates survive the savage law of the streets.Facing Chuck Davis, as a nemesis, is the Round Table Gang organization, who controls the black market in Tehk City. Davis and his team will have to use his street smarts to survive said criminal mob. But what about Pretty Black (Snoop Dogg), a shadowy informer? Which side is he on?
A ‘noir’ story in a dangerous and seedy city
In addition to Ice T- and Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Coco, Tracy Morgan, Mike Epps, Roxane Shante and many others will appear in the streetwise Death for Hire story. These deluxe editions will come with bonus cards, posters, and even NFTs.
