Puma launches Black Station 2
sportswear brand Puma Launched Black Station 2, a metaverse platform that connects the digital and physical realms, enabling users to acquire phygital footwear. The platform is an extension of the original Black Station, which debuted during New York Fashion Week in September.

Image credit: Puma Originally, Black Station was a vibrant, interactive destination where users could view and purchase exclusive digital collectibles that could be redeemed for physical Puma sneakers. Black Station 2 offers an enhanced immersive experience through two distinct, explorable “worlds,” each showcasing innovative footwear designs. PUMA’s community can not only explore these worlds, but also get fake shoes that have never been seen before. First World Unkai draws inspiration from the bright colors and lively elements of the Japanese city of Shibuya, which are reflected in the shoes. The second world Unter is influenced by Berlin’s club culture, incorporating design elements reminiscent of the underground club scene.
Image credit: Puma In Black Station 2, Puma Pass NFT holders (formerly known as Nitro Collection) have the option to purchase Materializer NFTs (physical objects “to be produced”) and/or digital collectible NFTs. A maximum of 4,000 of each NFT will be issued. Users can explore the Black Station 2 by visiting the site and purchasing one of PUMA’s limited-edition NFTs. Puma Passes are available on OpenSea’s secondary market.

space runnerFashion tech platform Smiley has teamed up with UK-based brand licensing company Smiley, which has the rights to smiley faces in more than 100 countries, to launch Space Runners’ Smiley World: a series of NFTs tied to tangible products. Earlier this year, Space Runners teamed up with French fashion house Balmain to develop a line of digital wearables and physical clothing.

Space Runners’ Smiley Worlds are coming to OpenSea, and each Smiley World in the series has a unique theme, including streetwear, gaming, music and mental health. By creating an immersive digital fashion environment, Space Runners encourages and rewards creativity to foster a community dedicated to improving the world. Smiley Worlds owners will gain exclusive access to future releases, earn royalties on merchandise sales, and receive updates on upcoming NFT drops. These items utilize Roblox’s innovative layered clothing technology, enabling ultra-realistic and inclusive 3D clothing to fit any avatar’s body shape. Additionally, DressX is giving away a limited number of Cuties (Turner’s signature clothing brand) studded water bottle accessories. The collection is available now on the Roblox Avatar Store and can be worn in various experiences on the platform. “I’m so excited to be joining forces with DressX to bring my merchandise into the digital space.
