why: One of the biggest names in street photography with a multi-decade career, Bruce Gilden is releasing two more of his works as NFTs. Although best known for his “Ambush” portraits over the years, two works in this series distill Gilden’s style down to its most basic elements: bright, dynamic colors and the deliberate use of flash.

why: Costa Rican artist Monfa, known for his captivating, expansive worlds depicted in simple geometric shapes, is entering a whole new world with his next collection. Asteroid Fields Forever sees artists exploring dreams, using asteroids floating in the abyss as a metaphor for the dream fragments we recall when we wake up.

why: Following the series’ virtual bat pre-sale last August, Gondek will open the rest of the series to the public. Now you can put your digital and physical hand on one of the bats without getting an allowed list location. While each NFT in this collection is a photo of an actual physical bat, holders can choose to burn these NFTs to access their real-world counterparts. Each bat in the collection is hand-carved and enhanced with spikes, paint, and hand-wrapped with grip tape.

why: The drop marks the second installment in artist Tom Yoo’s ongoing series called CHIE. The series aims to tell the story of Chie, a fictional athlete who becomes the first woman to play in the NBA. Chapter 2 gives viewers a glimpse into the defining moments of Chie’s journey into the NBA. Yoo has also pledged to donate a portion of the collection’s sales to a number of nonprofits.
