Christie’s 3.0 launches ‘soul mapping’ to benefit psychedelic research

well-known auction house Christie’s Dive into the strangely wide world of Web3 again with another NFT-focused auction.Selected Works Entitled “Mapping of the Soul” – with Collectors Center 1OF1 — A multidisciplinary consortium designed to support psychedelic research (map), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the research and promotion of psychedelic therapy. Proceeds from Mapping the Soul, presented by Christie’s 3.0, Christie’s on-chain auction platform dedicated to outstanding digital art, will be donated to further research and public education initiatives at MAPS.Opening on June 21 at 6PM ET, the new program follows the 2022 initiative “Cartography of the Mind,” which saw a milestone sale of the work of NFT100 winners Sam Spratt, IX Shells, Beeple, etc.This iteration will feature more than 30 new digital artworks, including Spratt and shell number nine Returning with other leading Web3 artists including Quan Dikai, killer acid, Clara Wallstadt, Summer Wagner, Justin Aversano, Mad Jonesand Nadia Tolokonikova (small commotion).

Concurrent with the 2023 Psychedelic Science Conference, Mapping the Soul will be on display June 21-23 in Denver, Colorado. Selected lots from the sale will also be on display at Christie’s New York from June 23-27, allowing art lovers and collectors to view digital artworks in person. The Soul Mapping Auction not only provides collectors with the opportunity to acquire extraordinary digital artwork, but also supports MAPS’ work in advancing psychedelic therapy. Combining art, technology and philanthropy, the auction reflects the evolving landscape of the art market in the digital age.
